Try this hearty vegetarian chili using Impossible "Ground Beef" plant-based meat. Full of spices, tomatoes, beans - the perfect cozy comfort food!  

Ingredients

2 12oz packages Impossible "Ground Beef" plant-based meat1 large onion, chopped1 can Red Gold® Fresh Squeezed Tomato Juice 46 oz1 can Red Gold® Tomato Sauce 15 oz1 can Red Gold® Chili Ready Diced Tomatoes 14.5 oz2 cans chili hot beans 15 oz2 tablespoons chili powder1/4 teaspoon red pepper1/2 teaspoon black pepper1 teaspoon oregano1 teaspoon cumin2 garlic cloves, minced1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • In a large soup kettle, brown ground beef and onion; drain well. 
  • Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
  • Simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serve with cheese and crackers.
  • Option: Add 1 cup cooked macaroni when chili is ready to serve.
