Loaded Chili Tacos!  Make this quick homemade chili and it is a perfect filler for all of your taco needs.  Lean beef, spices, cheese, Red Gold Tomatoes and Tomato Sauce along with Bush's Chili Kidney Beans all come together in a Mission Soft Taco Flour Tortilla.  So easy and so tasty!

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil2 pounds extra lean ground beef1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon pepper1 small onion, diced2 cloves garlic, minced1 tablespoon chili powder1 can Red Gold® Tomato Sauce 15 oz1 can Red Gold® Petite Diced Tomatoes 14.5 oz2 cans Bush's® Chili Kidney Beans, 16 oz12 Mission® Soft Taco Flour Tortillas, 2-10 ct or 1-20 ct pkg1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese1 ripe avocado, peeled and chopped3/4 cup sour cream4 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a large skillet set over medium heat; cook beef, salt and pepper for 5 to 8 minutes or until browned.  Stir in onion, garlic and chili powder; cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until slightly softened.
  • Stir in Red Gold Tomato Sauce, Red Gold Petite Diced Tomatoes, and Bush's Chili Kidney Beans, bring to a boil.  Reduce heat to medium-low, cook 10 to 15 minutes or until thickened.
  • Warm Mission Soft Taco Flour Tortillas according to package directions. 
  • Assemble chili in warm tortillas with cheese, avocado, sour cream and green onions.

Tip:  For a chili taco bar, serve chili with warm tortillas and extra toppings, such as shredded lettuce, shredded cabbage, bacon, jalapenos, olives and/or hot sauce.  Let guests customize their own tacos.
