Spicy beans, fresh vegetables and chunks of lean beef will transform this traditional chili into a family favorite in no time. As a bonus, let people top their own bowls with cheese, onions or scallions.
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 (1.5 ounce) packet chili seasoning packet
2 (14.5 ounce) cans Tuttorosso® Diced Tomatoes 28 oz
1 (28 ounce) can Tuttorosso® Crushed Tomatoes with basil 28 oz
1 (15 ounce) can Tuttorosso® Tomato Sauce 15 oz
- 1 (15.5 ounce) can chili hot beans
Instructions
Step one
Brown ground beef, garlic, onion, and peppers in a large soup kettle, drain.
Step two
Add remaining ingredients to soup kettle. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to simmer and cook for 20 minutes to blend flavors.
