

This sausage and pepper pizza is fun to make and delicious to eat! When I was a child, my mom would always ask me to help her make pizza. I loved being able to help her in the kitchen. Decades later and now my daughter gets to help me. Making pizza together is such a great family tradition. @spinachandbacon @thefeedfeed
Ingredients
- 1 pizza dough, store-bought
- 12 ounces Italian sausage, sweet variety, crumbled
1 (15 ounce) can Tuttorosso® Crushed Tomatoes with basil 15 oz
- dried oregano, to taste
- garlic powder, to taste
- 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese, or cheese of choice
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
Instructions
Step one
Preheat oven using the directions on the pizza dough package.
Step two
Cook the sausage and set it aside.
Step three
Roll out the pizza dough into your desired shape and add it to a pizza stone or a parchment paper-lined sheet pan.
Step four
Slowly add the Tuttorosso Classic Crushed Tomatoes with Basil on top of your dough. Use enough sauce to create an even layer.
Step five
Add oregano and garlic powder on top of the crushed tomatoes. Add one layer of cheese, followed by a layer of crumbled sausage and diced green peppers.
Step six
Bake until golden brown on top and the dough has a nice golden color on the bottom, about 20 minutes.
