An easy, full-of-flavor vinaigrette that takes few ingredients. Vine-ripened tomatoes preserved using only steam to preserve fresh tomato flavor with no can taste.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic puree
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can Tuttorosso® Petite Diced Tomatoes
Instructions
Step one
Combine all ingredients EXCEPT the petite diced tomatoes, mixing well to blend mustard and dissolve sugar and salt.
Step two
Add tomatoes and stir to combine.
Step three
Refrigerate for at least one hour to maximize flavor.
Step four
To dress your favorite greens, put vinaigrette in the bottom of large mixing or salad bowl, then top with greens and other salad ingredients. Toss well to coat salad greens before serving.
Step five
Store any unused vinaigrette in the refrigerator for up to one week.
