Ingredients

  • Olive oil, for brushing and cooking
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup Tuttorosso San Marzano Style Hand Crushed Tomatoes in Puree with Basil & Sea Salt 28 oz
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste
  • 1 pound pizza dough, at room temperature
  • 6 ounces low-moisture mozzarella, shredded
  • Pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup stracciatella cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Hot honey, for drizzling

Instructions

Step one

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Step two

In a small saucepan over medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil and the garlic. Cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Step three

Stir in the Tuttorosso San Marzano Style Hand Crushed Tomatoes and season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

Step four

Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, until slightly thickened.

Divide the pizza dough into 2 portions and stretch each into a thin round.

Flip the dough.
