Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, plus more for brushing grates, if grilling
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 can kidney beans 15 oz, drained and rinsed
1 Red Gold Canned Tomato Sauce 8 oz
1 Red Gold Canned Petite Diced Tomatoes 14.5 oz
- 1 pkg. Williams Original Chili Seasoning Mix 1 oz
- 16 hot dogs
- 16 hot dog buns
- 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small red onion, finely diced
- 1 jar pickled jalapeno slices 12 oz
Instructions
Step one
Heat oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the beef, and cook,
breaking up into small crumbles with a wooden spoon. Cook for about 8-12 minutes, until
beef is cooked and begins to brown. Stir in the beans, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and
Williams Original Chili Seasoning packet, and bring to a simmer over medium-low heat. Cook,
stirring occasionally, until flavors develop, about 15 minutes. Keep warm over low heat.
Step two
Meanwhile, heat grill to medium-high heat and brush the grates with oil. Grill the hot dogs,
turning occasionally, until fully heated through and char marks appear, about 5-8 minutes. If cooking in skillet, cook until fully heated through, turning occasionally. Place the hot dogs in buns. Top with the chili, cheese, red onion and jalapeno and serve.
