

This Cheesy Skillet Meatball Dip steals the show. Ingredients
- 1-2 tsp olive oil
- 3-4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbps Tuttorosso Tomato Paste 6 oz
1 can Tuttorosso San Marzano Style Hand Crushed Tomatoes in Puree with Basil & Sea Salt 28 oz
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- salt and black pepper, to taste
- pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
- pinch of sugar (optional)
- 1 package cooked meatballs
- 1-1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cub grated parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
- Toasted bread or crostini, for serving
Instructions
Step one
Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and saute for 30-60 seconds untill fragrant. Stir in Tuttorosso Tomato Paste and cook for another 30 seconds to deepen the flavor.
Step two
Pour in the Tuttorosso San Marzano Hand Crushed Tomatoes in Puree with Basil & Sea Salt, and season with Italian seasoning, salt, pepper and optional red pepper flakes or sugar. Simmer the sauce for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step three
Add the cooked meatballs directly into the sauce. Top with mozzarella and parmesean cheese.
Step four
Place in the oven or smoker at 400 degrees untill the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
Step five
Finish with fresh parsley and serve hot with toasted bread.
