

This may be my favorite way to eat pizza. I love the combo of the crispy garlic French bread mixed with the savory toppings. The one thing that takes the pizza over the top is Tuttorosso Tomatoes. Ingredients
PIZZA
- 1 French bread loaf
- 12 cooked meatballs
- 12 oz shredded mozzarella
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley or fresh chopped basil
- BUTTER
- 8 tbsp unsalted butter, room temp
- 3 tbsp grated parmesean cheese
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp parsley
- SAUCE
8 can Tuttorosso Tomato Sauce 8 oz
4 oz Tuttorosso Tomato Paste with Sweet Basil 6 oz
- 1/2 tsb Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
Step One
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Cut the French Breat in half and place on the sheet.
Step Two
Add all of the butter ingredients into a bowl and mix well. Split the butter between the two bread halves. Spread evenly. Place the bread in the oven for 7-10 minutes untill slightly browned. Remove.
Step Three
Add all of the ingredients for the sauce to a bowl and mix well. Spread approx 1/2 cup of sauce onto each side of baked bread. Place the sliced meatballs on top of the bread. Load it up as much as you would like. Split the mozzarella between the two halves and spread evenly. Bake for 10-15 minutes. The top should have some golden brown spots and cheese melted. Remove, top with fresh herbs and enjoy!
