This bold, craveable queso is powered by the vibrant flavor of Red Gold Nutritionally Enhanced Salsa.
Ingredients
- 3 lbs. fresh Mexican chorizo
- 3 lbs. pasteurized processed cheese, cut into chunks
- 3 cups heavy cream
Instructions
Step 1
In the large rondeau cook chorizo over medium heat, breaking apart with spatula or wooden spoon until fully cooked.
Step 2
Add the Red Gold Salsa, bring to a simmer and cook for 8-10 minutes, allowing the salsa to thicken a bit. Add the chunks of cheese. Stirring frequently to incorporate cheese as it melts.
Step 3
Add the heavy cream and continue stirring until sauce is hot and cheese is fully melted.
