This chili is packed with beans, onion, canned tomatoes, and ground beef. Place everything in your slow cooker and let the magic begin.
Ingredients
- 3 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 (28 ounce) can Redpack® Canned Crushed Tomato in Puree 28 oz
1 (29 ounce) can Redpack Canned Tomato Puree 29 oz
1 (28 ounce) can Redpack Canned Diced Tomatoes 28 oz
- 1 cup frozen whole kernel corn
- 2 (15 ounce) cans black beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 teasponns dried basil
- 1 teaspoon margoram
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Step one
Heat oil in a large pot, brown ground beef, onion, and garlic; drain excess fat. Add remaining ingredients to the pot and stir to combine.
Step two
Transfer to a slow cooker and cook 6-8 hours on low, or 2-3 hours on high. You can also cook on the stove top over medium heat; bring to a boil and reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 hours.
