Tomato and Burrata Crostini Board

These Tomato and Burrata Crostini are bright, fresh, and perfect for holiday entertaining. Using Red Gold Crushed Tomatoes the warm tomato spread pairs beautifully with creamy burrata for a simple but irresistible appetizer. @recipeswithjenna @thefeedfeed

Ingredients

  • 1 sliced french baguette
  • 2 tablespoons plus more for drizzling olive oil
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • Red Gold Canned Crushed Tomatoes 15 oz

  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1–2 balls fresh burrata
  • for garnish Fresh basil leaves

Instructions

Toast the baguette

Preheat oven to 400°F. Brush baguette slices with olive oil and bake for 5–6 minutes, or until golden and crisp.

Make the tomato spread – Step one

Warm 2 tablespoons olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Step two

Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Step three

Stir in Red Gold Crushed Tomatoes, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).

Step four

Simmer for 5–7 minutes, then let cool slightly

Assemble – Step one

Spoon the warm tomato mixture onto each crostini. Tear burrata and place on top.

Step two

Garnish with basil and finish with an extra drizzle of olive oil. Arrange on a serving board and enjoy immediately.
