A simple chili recipe with three types of beans, turkey, diced tomatoes, spices and a touch of sweetness. This thick and rich chili recipe will surely be added to your regular dinner menu.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
1 can Red Gold® Fresh Squeezed Canned Tomato Juice 46 oz
1 can Red Gold® Canned Diced Tomatoes 14.5 oz
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dill weed
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 can chili hot beans 15 oz
- 1 can kidney beans, rinsed and drained 15 oz
- 1 can pinto beans, rinsed and drained 15 oz
- 1 can red beans, rinsed and drained 15 oz
- 1 package chili seasoning packet 1.25 oz
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/2 tablespoon sugar
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Step one
Brown turkey in large soup kettle, break into crumbles. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 hour. Add water if desired for a thinner chili or add more tomato juice for a thicker consistency.
Step two
Option: Top with shredded cheese.
