With the simplicity of this soup, it’s important to use high quality canned tomatoes. Red Gold Tomatoes are picked at their peak ripeness making them my go-to choice for the most flavorful soup! @genies_life
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 cups bell peppers, diced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 can Red Gold Canned Petite Diced Tomatoes 14.5 oz
1 can Red Gold Canned Tomato Sauce 15 oz
- 6 cups beef broth
Instructions
Step one
In a large pot over high heat, add olive oil and ground beef. Break up beef and cook until no longer pink. Add in onion, bell peppers and seasonings.
Step two
Sauté for 5 minutes stirring occasionally. Add in crushed garlic and sauté an additional 5 minutes. Next add in Red Gold Petite Diced Tomatoes, Red Gold Tomato Sauce and beef broth.
Step three
Bring to a boil for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, then serve.
