Macaroni and cheese doesn’t get easier or tastier than this slow cooker version. Red Gold Original Diced Tomatoes + Green Chilies add a kick of spice in this creamy mac and cheese. So simple to make; just dump the ingredients, set the slow cooker on low and it’s ready to enjoy in a few short hours. You may never want mac and cheese from the box ever again.
Ingredients
- 2 cups macaroni, or pasta of choice, uncooked
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 8 ounces processed American cheese, cubed
- 8 ounces light cream cheese, cubed
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
1 can Red Gold Petite Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies 14.5 oz
Instructions
Step one
Place the uncooked pasta in the bottom of a 3.5 quart slow cooker that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
Step two
Add the remaining ingredients, except tomatoes, to the slow cooker and stir until well combined. Cook on LOW for 4 hours.
Step three
Just before serving add tomatoes; stir to combine.
