Healthy Chicken Burger

Get the taste of the islands by adding Red Gold Petite Diced Tomatoes with Lime Juice & Cilantro to your ground chicken. Top with a mango salsa or chutney to add flavor to this easy, healthy burger!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can Red Gold Petite Diced Tomatoes with Lime & Cilantro 14.5 oz, drained very well

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lime juice

Instructions

Step one

Combine ground chicken, tomatoes, egg and bread crumbs in a bowl. Form into patties and season with salt and black pepper.

Step two

Place on grill and cook to desired temperature, 160° F for completely cooked burgers.

Step three

Serve on toasted bun or lettuce leaf.

Step four

Top with Guacamole, avocado or roasted pineapple slice.

Step five

Top with Mango Chutney or Fruit Salsa.
