Ingredients

  • 1 ball of pizza dough (sourdough recommended)
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 can Red Gold Canned Mild Diced Tomatoes + Green Chilies 10 oz, drained well

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella and Colby Jack blend)
  • 3/4 cup cooked chicken, chopped or shredded
  • Thinly sliced red onion, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

Step one

Heat a grill to about 600°F with a pizza stone inside. Let it preheat for 10–15 minutes.

Step two

On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll out the pizza dough into a round or oval shape.

Step three

Spread BBQ sauce evenly over the dough. Add chicken, Red Gold Mild Diced Tomatoes + Green Chilies, shredded cheese, and sliced red onions.

Step four

Carefully transfer the pizza to the hot pizza stone. Grill for 8–10 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbling.

Step five

Remove from the grill, top with fresh cilantro, slice, and serve immediately.
