When we say easy, we mean EASY! And when we say tasty we mean TASTY! Our Red Gold Ketchup and Red Gold Tomato Sauce combined with a can of beer, make a tangy sauce that cooks all day in your slow cooker for tender and delicious roast beef. Our favorite way to serve is over creamy mashed potatoes.
Ingredients
- 1 (12 ounce) can beer
1 cup Red Gold® 32 oz Ketchup Folds of Honor
1 can Red Gold® Canned Tomato Sauce 15 oz
- 3 pound rump roast
Instructions
Step one
In a small bowl place beer, ketchup and tomato sauce; stir to combine.
Step two
Place roast in slow cooker and pour ketchup mixture over roast. Cook on LOW for 8 hours. Serve over mashed potatoes with chives.
Options
Add vegetables of your choice to this easy-to-prepare main dish. After placing the roast in the slow cooker add peppers, zucchini and carrots.
