Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can Red Gold® Chili Ready Diced Tomatoes 14.5 oz
1 (15 ounce) can Red Gold® Chili Ready Tomato Sauce 15 oz
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can beef broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Step one
Brown ground beef in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. When beef is about half way cooked, add the chopped garlic and onion. Cook until the beef is no longer pink. Drain off any excess fat.
Step two
Add dry pasta, Diced Tomatoes Chili Ready, Tomato Sauce Chili Ready, beef broth and water. Stir gently to evenly distribute all of the ingredients. Bring to a low boil, reduce heat to simmer, cook partially covered for 12 to 14 minutes until pasta is tender.
Step three
Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top, cover with a lid and cook for an additional 10 minutes to melt the cheese. Serve immediately.
