Red Gold Awards Family Farms Recognized for Quality Achievements

ELWOOD, Ind. (Feb 9, 2026) – Red Gold of Elwood, Indiana honored six growers with the Red Gold Master Grower Award at Red Gold’s 35^th Annual Grower’s Banquet. All the Master Growers were awarded with a Red Gold plaque. The Master Growers were AcMoody Farms of Union City, Michigan receiving their 11^th Master Grower Award, Knick Farms of Ansonia, Ohio Receiving their 14^th Master Grower Award, Iott Farms of Deerfield, Michigan receiving their 3^rd Master Grower Award, Niese Ag of Pandora, Ohio receiving their 6^th Master Grower Award, Lievens Bros. Farms from Petersburg, Michigan receiving their 6^th Master Grower Award and Howell Farms of Middletown, Indiana receiving their 6^th Master Grower Award. The Master Grower Award is given away each year to recipients who have distinguished themselves from others by delivering quality production, while exhibiting industry leadership and professionalism. All growers for Red Gold had training in good production practices, employee safety and human resources.

Out of the six growers that were awarded with the Master Grower Award, Howell Farms of Middletown, Indiana was awarded with the coveted E.A. Reichart Quality Achievement Award, to honor them as the Tomato Grower of the Year. This was Howell’s 2^nd time being awarded the E.A. Reichart Quality Achievement Award. The Reichart Family was pleased to present the award to Adam and Aaron Howell of Howell Farms.
