Wischmeyer Farms is a family-owned operation in Northwestern Ohio where tradition and innovation come together to form a diverse farming business. With more than a century of farming history, the Wischmeyer family has built an operation that honors its past while adapting for the future.
Family Farm Operation
Today, Wischmeyer Farms LLC is operated by Tom, Brian, and Mark Wischmeyer. They farm 1,510 acres across three counties – Putnam, Allen and Hancock. Since 1992, the family has partnered with Red Gold to produce high quality tomatoes, farming approximately 275 acres for tomatoes each year.
Community is Important
Beyond the fields, Wischmeyer Farms remain active in the local community. They support church, school projects, and participate in fundraisers. They enjoy working side by side with organizations and find it deeply rewarding and meaningful to see the next generation take an interest in their work.
Family Grown
On their farm, that next generation is busy riding in tractors, spending time in the fields, and learning from Grandpa Tom, and Uncles Brian, Mark and Scott.
