

Sweet Hawaiian rolls layered with three kinds of salami, provolone, mozzarella, Calabrian heat, and brushed with herb garlic butter, then baked until golden and melty. Ingredients
- SLIDERS
- 1 package Hawaiian sweet rolls (12 count)
- 6 slices mozzarella cheese
- 2-3 tablespoons Chicago style giardiniera
- 6 slices black forest ham
- 8 slices genoa salami
- 6 slices hard salami
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 1 heaping tablespoon mayonnaise
- HERB GARLIC BUTTER
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons Italian flat leaf parsley, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- HOMEMADE MARINARA
- 1 can Red Gold Tomato Sauce 15 oz
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 bay leaf
Instructions
MAKE MARINARA – Step one
Combine tomato sauce, water, sugar, oregano, basil, thyme, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and bay leaf in small saucepan over medium heat.
Step two
Bring to gentle simmer, reduce heat to low, and simmer 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened and flavors meld.
Step three
Remove and discard bay leaf. Keep warm until serving.
ASSEMBLE SLIDERS – Step one
Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease baking dish.
Step two
Slice rolls horizontally without separating individual rolls. Place bottom half in prepared baking dish.
Step three
Layer mozzarella, giardiniera, ham, Genoa salami, hard salami, and provolone in order listed.
Step four
Spread mayonnaise evenly over provolone layer. Place top half of rolls over filling.
Step five
Stir melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in small bowl until combined. Brush herb garlic butter evenly over tops of rolls.
Step six
Cover with foil and bake 15 minutes until cheese is melted. Remove foil and bake 2 to 3 minutes more until tops are golden brown.
Step seven
Cool slightly, slice into 12 sliders, and serve warm with marinara for dipping.
