Pizza with Canadian Bacon and Sriracha

This pizza packs a flavor punch with pizza sauce made with Red Gold Diced Tomatoes and Paste, mozzarella and cheddar cheese, and Canadian bacon.  Drizzle with sriracha sauce for a spicy boost. It’s also super easy! @thefeedfeed (12/7/25)

Ingredients

  • 1 Red Gold Canned Diced Tomatoes 14.5 oz

  • 2 tablespoons Red Gold Canned Tomato Paste 6 oz

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt, plus more to taste
  • 1 store-bought pizza dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup shredded white cheddar
  • 4 slices Canadian bacon, quartered
  • 3 scallions, thinly sliced
  • sriracha, for serving, optional

Instructions

Step one

Place a pizza stone or steel in your oven and preheat to 500°F.  Let the oven preheat for a full hour. 

Step two

Add the Red Gold Diced Tomatoes and Tomato Paste to a food processor and pulse to combine. Pour the sauce into a bowl and add the garlic, olive oil, red chili flakes, Italian seasoning and salt.  Taste and adjust seasoning. 

Step three

Stretch the pizza dough to a 12-14 inch circle.  Pre-bake the pizza crust in the preheated oven for 4 minutes. Carefully remove from the oven. Spread the sauce on the dough and then add the cheeses and Canadian bacon.

Step four

Bake for an additional 6 minutes or until crust is lightly browned and cheese is melted. Broil for an additional 1 minute.

Step five

Let the pizza cool on a rack before slicing.  Sprinkle with scallions and drizzle with sriracha if desired.
